Recipe
1. Puramate Khaman Dhokla
- Step-1 :Empty this pack of Puramate Khaman Mix in a bowl, add 30 ml (2 tbsp.) oil and 225ml (1 cup) water in part, and blend gently until the batter is smooth.
- Step -2 :Grease the tray with oil,pour batter into it.Steam on high flame for 15 min. Remove cooked khaman tray and cool for 5 min, then cut into desired pieces.
- Step-3 :Heat 30 ml (2 tbsp.) oil, add 1 tsp mustard seeds, sesame and fresh green chili. Spread it evenly on the khaman.
2. Puramate Gulab Jamun
- Step-1 : Add 70-80 ml of milk/water gradually to the Puramate Gulab Jamun Mix ( for better results use milk) knead gently till the dough become soft , keep aside for 5 min ,Apply oil/ghee with both palms & shape the dough into small balls.
- Step -2 : Deep fry in oil / ghee over medium flame, until golden brown . Take out and drain excess oil. Keep a side for 1 minute.
- Step - 3 : Soak fried Gulab Jamun in hot sugar syrup (20 minutes), until they completely absorb the syrup and serve.
3. Puramate Rava Idli
- Step-1 : Add 1 cup of fermented curd to this pack of Puramate Rava Idli Mix. Mix gently to make a lumps free batter and keep aside for 5-6 minutes.
- Step -2 : Put to boil approx. 1 litre (6-7 cups) water in a large steaming vessel, idli maker or pressure cooker.
- Step - 3 : Pour the idli batter into idli plates greased with oil and steam for 12-14 minutes. Cool for 1 minute and serve hot rava idli with coconut chutney and Puramate Instant Sambar.
Note : Fermented curd is compulsory. Otherwise idli will turn yellow.
4. Puramate Dosa
- Step-1 : Add 400ml (1 & 1/2 cup) of water to 200g of Puramate Dosa Mix, stir to make a smooth batter.
- Step -2 : Set aside for 5 minutes.
- Step - 3 :Spread sufficient batter on hot tava on medium flame, add 1 tsp oil on sides. Roast till golden brown on medium flame, serve hot with Puramate Sambhar and coconut chutney.
Tip :To make masala dosa , add potato-onion filling to the dosa before folding.
5. Puramate Rice Idli
- Step-1 : Add 2 & 1/4 cup of water to this pack of Puramate Rice Idli (200g) mix and mix gently to make a smooth batter.Keep aside for 2-3 minutes.
- Step -2 : Put to boil approx. 1 liter (6-7 cups) water in a large steaming vessel, idli maker or pressure cooker.
- Step - 3 : Pour the idli batter into idli plates greased with oil and steam for 12-14 minutes on medium to high flame. Cool for 1 minute and serve hot idli with coconut chutney and Puramate Instant Sambar.
Note : For tasty variation,cut idlis into halves and deep fry, serve them with tomato ketchup.
6. Puramate Sambhar
- Step-1 : Boil 10 cups (1.5 litre) of water with chopped onion and tomato. Add this pack of Puramate Instant Sambhar Mix (175g), 1 tsp of jaggery and boil for 5-6 min with constant stirring on low flame.
- Step -2 : Prepare seasoning of mustard seeds, curry leaves, red chili in 1 tbsp oil and add to the boiling sambhar.
- Step - 3 : Cook on medium heat for 5-6 minute , to desired consistency. Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
Tip :Serve hot with Puramate idli, dosa & vada.
7. Puramate Upma
- Step-1 : Boil 4 cups (650 ml) water in a thick bottom vessel with 2 tsp of ghee or oil.
- Step -2 :Add 2 cups (200g) of Puramate Upma Mix and mix well. Make sure no lumps left.
- Step - 3 :Simmer for 5 minutes stirring occasionally till the water absorbed. And serve hot.
Tip : You can add fresh vegetables like onion, tomato, green peas in boiling water.
8. Puramate Masala Upma
- Step-1 : Boil 4 cups (650 ml) water in a thick bottom vessel with 2 tsp of ghee or oil.
- Step -2 :Add 2 cups (200g) of Puramate Masala Upma mix.
- Step - 3 :Stir constantly for 5 min on low to medium flame till the water is absorbed. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
Tip :You can add fresh vegetables like onion, tomato, green peas in boiling water.
9. Puramate Custard Powder
- Step-1 : Mix two level tbsp.(20gms) of Puramate custard powder with 3tbsp. of milk taken from 1/2ltr. milk, to form a paste.
- Step -2 : Boil the remaining milk and then add 3tbsp. of sugar.
- Step - 3 : Add custard paste slowly to the boiling milk, stirring continuously for 1-2 mins.
- Step - 4 : Let it cool and eat as it is, or add dry fruits or fresh fruits and your fruit custard is ready
For setting custard to make moulded pudding, trifle, fruit fools, use 4 level tbsp.(40gms) of
Puramate Custard Powder per ½ ltr. Milk.
10. Puramate Jelly Crystal
- Step-1 : Boil 3 standard tea cups (500ml) water in a vessel. Allow it to cool for 1 min.
- Step -2 : Pour the hot water into the bowl containing the Puramate Jelly Crystal. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Step - 3 : The jelly sets at room temperature for 45 min. Refrigerate before serving to improve taste
- Step - 3 : Serve with chopped fruits but do not add fresh cut pineapple.
11. Puramate Ice Cream Mix
- Step-1 : Set refrigerator to the coldest temperature for 30 minutes before preparation.
- Step -2 :Take 500 ml milk and 100g Puramate Ice Cream Mix. Mix it thoroughly
- Step - 3 : Boil the mixture with continuous stirring for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the container from the stove and allow it to cool (room temperature)
- Step - 4 : Refrigerate the mixture in a closed air-tight container. Remove the mixture from the refrigerator, when frozen, break it into small pieces.
- Step - 4 : Beat in a mixer (food processor) at low speed for about 1 minute or until the mixture is smooth.
- Step - 4 : Pour the mixture into the container and freeze again until ready to serve.Avoid using glass or plastic containers.
Note : You can add 2 spoons of cream or malai before beating in mixer to enjoy more rich and creamy texture.
12. Puramate Eggless Oven Cake Mix
You will need:
- Step-1 : 1/2 cup (125ml) Water
- Step -2 : 2 teaspoon (10ml) Vegetable Oil
- Step - 3 : Pre-heat oven to 170° C
- Step - 4 : In a bowl, empty contents of pack, water, oil. Mix with spoon for 2 minutes till no lumps are seen in the batter.
- Step - 5 : Spread a few drops of vegetable oil or butter in Baking pan and grease well. Pour batter till 3/4th height of the pan.
- Step - 6 : Keep pan in pre-heated oven and bake for 30-35 mins. Or Microwave for 4-5 mins.
- Step - 7 : Remove from oven when a knife inserted in cake comes out clean. Let cake cool in pan for 30 minutes. Scrape the sides with a knife and flip the cake onto a plate. Decorate and enjoy!
13. Puramate Eggless Cupcake
You will need:
- Step - 1 : 1/2 cup (125ml) Water
- Step - 2 : 1/4 teaspoon (60ml) Vegetable Oil
- Step - 3 : Pre-heat oven to 170° C
- Step - 4 : In a bowl, empty contents of pack, water, oil. Mix with spoon for 2 minutes till no lumps are seen in the batter.
- Step - 5 : Spread a few drops of vegetable oil or butter in Cupcake moulds and grease well.Pour batter till 3/4 th heights of the moulds.
- Step - 6 : Keep pan in pre-heated oven and bake for 20 mins. Or Microwave for 1-2 mins.
- Step - 7 : Remove from oven when a toothpick inserted in cakes come out clean. Let cake cool in moulds for 15 minutes . Scrape the sides with a knife and flip the cupcake onto a plate. Decorate and enjoy!
14. Puramate Eggless Mug Cake
You will need:
- Step-1 : 2 tablespoon (30ml) Water
- Step -2 : 2 teaspoon (10ml) Vegetable Oil
- Step - 3 : Add mug cake mix till half the height of a mug
- Step - 4 : Add water, oil. Mix with spoon for 2 minutes till no lumps are seen in the batter.
- Step - 5 : Microwave for 1-2 mins.
- Step - 6 : Remove from microwave when a toothpick inserted in mug comes out clean. Enjoy your sweet meal!
15. Puramate Eggless Cooker Cake
You will need:
- Step - 1 : 1/2 cup (125ml) Water
- Step - 2 : 2 teaspoon (10ml) Vegetable Oil
- Step - 3 : In a bowl, empty contents of pack, water, oil. Mix with spoon for 2 minutes till no lumps are seen in the batter.
- Step - 4 : Spread a few drops of vegetable oil or butter in round vessel and grease well. Pour batter till 3/4th height of the vessel.
- Step - 5 : Pour water into a cooker of atleast 3 liter capacity. Make sure the water is at least 5cm high. Keep the vessel with batter inside the cooker.
- Step - 6 : Close cooker lid and steam for 30-35 minutes (without whistle).
- Step - 7 : Remove vessel from cooker and cool for 30 minutes. Scrape the sides with a knife and flip the cake onto a plate. Enjoy!
16. Puramate Eggless American Brownie
You will need:
- Step-1 : 1/4 cup (60ml) Water
- Step -2 : 2.5 Tablespoon (45ml) Vegetable Oil
- Step - 3 : Add brownie mix, water, oil. Mix with a spoon for 2 minutes till no lumps are seen in the batter.
- Step - 4 : Bake at 160°C for 40 mins.
- Step - 5 : Remove from oven when a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Step - 6 : Enjoy your sweet meal!
17. Puramate Falooda Mix
- Step -1 : Take 1 Ltr. of milk in a vessel. Add 2 cup of water (200 ml) to the vessel containing milk and heat for 2-3 minutes, on medium flame.
- Step - 2 : Empty content of Puramate Falooda Mix pack into the milk and boil it while stirring continuously for 10-15 minutes, until the mixture becomes creamy.
- Step - 3 : Remove the vessel from the flame and allow the mixture to cool.
- Step - 4 : Refrigerate to chill (DO NOT DEEP FREEZE) and serve your Puramate Falooda adding nuts, dry fruits & ice cream.
